YPR Films
YPR Films is an independent Film Company created in 2010 in the Dominican Republic.
The purpose of the Company is to produce auteur films, fiction and documentaries with a social background, a cinema verité with a female gaze, in the Dominican Republic with international co-production.
Our first feature film "JEFFREY" was awarded at Toronto International Film Festival 2016 with the “Discovery Filmmaker Award” and other internationally A list film festival awards.
We recently won Best short film at LOCARNO Film Festival Open Doors and the World Cinema Fund Strategy Award at Locarno Open Door for our film in development CUANDO CAE LA LLUVIA.
